Paddock Hill
Britain’s Brands Hatch is often overlooked in favour of its more famous Silverstone rival, but its an outstanding circuit, and the Paddock Hill Bend is an out-and-out cracker.
Coming off the Brabham straight you go slightly uphill (so blinding the entry) before plunging down and to the right. Its hard to judge the braking spot and the length of the bend means its hard to hit the right spot on the apex. Exiting Paddock you go down and then instantly up Hailwoods Hill, creating a vertical pressure of 2.37g in the process.
The shaded area on our design shows Paddock’s large sandy run-off area – because you’re going to need it.
